The bi-directional DuoFern radio system is ideal for the integrated automation of small and medium-sized
buildings and is capable of controlling other household electrical systems over and above roller shutters,
awnings and venetian blinds.
The classic amongst the DuoFern products is the RolloTron Pro belt winder. In addition, the product range
also includes flush-mounted tubular motor actuators for refurbishing existing tubular motors and universal
actuators for the switching of lighting and other electrical units. The range is completed by tubular motor
switch controllers for the local operation of automated roller shutters, socket actuators, manual transmitters
and the manual DuoFern central operating unit. The radio system can be extended at any time thanks to its
modular design.
Each component in the DuoFern network is both transmitter and receiver (the principle of bi-directional
operation) and can therefore transfer the radio signals on. If direct radio control transmission is not possible,
the signal can be received by other DuoFern units and transmitted onwards. The radio signal thus reaches the
predetermined receiver via a “detour”. This so-called routing function is performed automatically with DuoFern
and does not have to be configured separately during installation.
